Two years ago, Tahar and Leila Abid packed up their four kids, loaded their minivan to the absolute limit, and drove into the Alberta wilderness for their very first camping trip.

They were not prepared.

They had too much stuff, not enough experience, and a truly impressive number of questions they should have Googled before leaving the driveway.

But somewhere between the first campfire, the burned hot dogs, and the kids falling asleep under more stars than they'd ever seen — something clicked.

Why We Started Wild Together

Here's the thing nobody tells you about family camping: it is beautifully, gloriously chaotic. It is the opposite of a curated Instagram moment. Someone always forgets something. Someone always needs a snack. Dad will confidently assemble something in a way that is definitely not how it was designed to work.

And somehow — that's the good part.

We started Wild Together Store because we couldn't find a brand that actually spoke to families like ours. Families who didn't grow up outdoors but decided to start anyway. Families who show up a little underprepared and leave a little changed. Families who come home dirty, exhausted, and already planning the next trip.

So we made the shirts for those families. Because we are those families.

(Also, Tahar built a custom enclosed trailer just to haul camping gear because there's no room in the minivan. Is that overkill? Probably. Are we proud of it? Absolutely.)
